As a reference to the Japanese sport of sumo, all vases are large in size and shape and are placed on narrow, pointed legs. All vases have different openings, from the traditional narrow vase opening to double openings and deeply carved openings. The Sumo collection looks at the contrast between familiar vase shapes and adds more artistic, abstract ideas and details that question our personal perceptions of vase shapes.

The Sumo Collection was designed as a stand-alone work of art, but when brought together it forms a unified family of objects.

As it is a hand-glazed natural product, the color may vary slightly, and a flower bag is included as it is not 100% waterproof.
